Signs that staking is causing harm

Chasing a loss, hiding the amount, and spending rent or food money are reasons to pause. This page is not a diagnosis.

Three steps in navy and orange: pause, tell someone you trust, and call Tele-MANAS at 1800-89-14416.

Key points

  1. Chasing a loss, hiding the amount, and using rent or food money are reasons to stop, not badges.
  2. A sign is not a medical label. A website cannot assess a person.
  3. The DGHS page says Tele-MANAS is reached at 1800-89-14416 or short code 14416.
  4. That page describes a 24x7 tele-mental health facility under the National Mental Health Programme.
  5. A results site does not counsel, and it does not sell a number that will 'win it back'.

This page is not a diagnosis and not a treatment plan. A list of signs is a reason to pause and to talk to a person or a service.

Contents

People notice the harm after the stake, not in the advertisement. Sleep goes. A payment that had a date gets missed. The next stake is described as the repair. This page lists signs that are worth taking seriously. It does not say that any reader has a disorder. A website cannot assess that. The useful step is to pause, to tell someone who is not selling a number, and, if the distress is heavy, to use the public health line printed below.

Three boxes: pause and stop chasing today, tell someone you trust, and call Tele-MANAS at 1800-89-14416. No pictures of people.
A practical order. The phone number is the one printed by the Directorate General of Health Services for Tele-MANAS.
A self-check. A yes is a reason to pause, not a diagnosis
Question to ask yourselfWhat a yes might meanA next step that is not treatment advice
Am I staking to get the last loss back? The repair stake is a new stakeStop today's transfers
Have I hidden the amount from someone I live with?Secrecy is already part of the harmTell that person, or another person you trust
Did rent, food, fees or a debt payment fund the stake? The money had a jobPut the next due payment first
Is work, sleep or mood worse on days I cannot check a result? The result has taken the dayLeave the chart closed for a day
Did I pay someone who promised a fixed number? That is the scam pattern, on top of the stakeDo not send a second fee

What the signs are, and what they are not

Chasing is the clearest sign, because it pretends to be a plan. The last ticket lost. The next ticket is supposed to refund it. The pros and cons explain why the next ticket has the same average shortfall. Calling it a repair does not change the arithmetic. Borrowing to fund the repair moves the loss into a dated debt. Hiding the app, the chat or the amount moves it into the relationship. Irritability when the chart will not refresh, and relief only when a number is declared, are signs that the day is being organised around a record that does not care.

None of those sentences is a diagnosis of gambling disorder or of any other condition. Diagnostic manuals and clinicians use their own questions, over time, with a person in front of them. This page has none of that. A reader who answers yes to one row of the table has a reason to pause. A reader who answers yes to several has a stronger reason. Neither answer is a label this site is allowed to stick on them.

The helpline that was actually printed

The Directorate General of Health Services page on the National Mental Health Programme, opened on 7 November 2026, says the Government of India announced the National Tele Mental Health Programme in the Union Budget of 2022. It names Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across States, Tele-MANAS, and says the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare was entrusted to guide the implementation. The aims on that page include universal access to equitable, accessible, affordable and quality mental health care through 24x7 tele-mental health services, as a digital component of the National Mental Health Programme, across states and union territories.

The same page says the public can reach Tele-MANAS by dialling toll-free 1800-89-14416 or the short code 14416. The hyphenation here matches that page. It also links to the Tele-MANAS site. Use the number printed there.

A call to that line is support. It is not an appointment this website can book, and it is not a promise about what the counsellor will say. If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services. Report a payment that already went out to the local police or the official cybercrime portal. The scam guide describes the second fee. You can stop the next payment without waiting for a portal.

What this site will not pretend to be

MatkaFlash publishes dated public results. It does not run a clinic, a recovery programme, or a tip line that claims the next number will repair the last one. If a result page is part of the loop, closing it for a day is a reasonable experiment. The record will still be there later. It does not improve by being refreshed. The editorial guide says why a results desk refuses the product that chasing people are offered.

Common questions

Does this page diagnose gambling addiction?

No. The table is a self-check. A yes is a reason to pause and to talk to a person or a service. It is not a medical label.

What Tele-MANAS number did the health directorate print?

The DGHS page says toll-free 1800-89-14416 or short code 14416. That is the hyphenation this guide uses.

Is Tele-MANAS a fraud-reporting line?

No. The DGHS page describes it as tele-mental health support under the National Mental Health Programme. It is not a cybercrime desk.

Can a fixed number win the losses back?

No. Another stake, including one that was sold as fixed, is another stake. Do not pay a fee to repair a loss.
